Love Bartholomew. I put it in the same category in my mind as Sebastian, Cornelius and Ambrose; long-ish, cool, early Christian names.
I'm not crazy about the nn Bart either. But I knew a Bart before the Simpson character so it doesn't bother me as much. I think it was Array who uses the nn Tolly, which is nice.
there are so many Nathaniels at the moment. We could use a few more Bartholomews. Go for it. :-)
