Penelope
Is my newest infatuation. Like? Dislike? Middle names? It doesn't fit in with my other favourites, which tend to be old-fashioned 'grandma' names, but for right now it seems really appealing. Oh, and do you like any nicknames, or prefer it be left alone?

My aunt's name is Penelope Jane. She mainly goes by Melly or Mel, due to a family mix-up long ago, but some people call her Penny. I think it is very dated, personally, and rather snobby-sounding.S xx

I used to love this name when I was a child! now I can't say I love it, but it's not bad. Penny is the traditional nickname, and yes I used to love this when I was a kid, but now it's not so appealing. The Rescuers was my favourite movie. There was a girl called Penny in that.
