I was actually just thinking about Lazarus :-) I love it. Osmond makes me think of the Osmonds, which I guess isn't a bad association, just one that takes away from the name. But of course, you could say the same about Lazarus. Anyway, I'm not a fan of Osmond but I love Lazarus.

I love Lazarus and think Laz & Lars are the most plausible nicknames going (Lazarus Arthur John is my own Lazarus combo).

Osmond reminds me of Donny & Marie, personally (yuck), but Oz would be a cool nickname for it. I'd prefer Desmond (because Dez is really cool).

I don't like Lazarus. It is way too Biblical and I don't really like the sound. Creative nickname? What about Lars?

Osmond I don't like. I makes me think of the Osmonds and Danny/Donny (not sure what his name is) who I think looks very 'plastic'.

Love Lazarus. I think that Laz would be the best possible nickname for it--it's cool, it's jaunty, it's jazzy, I love it. Larry is another possibility that probably doesn't appeal to anyone but me. Zari, Russ, Lazza, Laru, Lazu, Zazu?

Lazarus - I do like the sound of the name but it would be a difficult name to carry in this very modern world.

Osmond has it's charm but I think Desmond and Esmond are by far more charming and handsome.
