I love Rufus, he's somewhere in my top 20 and if I thought it fit, I'd use it in a heartbeat. I think Rufus is charming, strong and the slightest bit sweet. I'd not waste a great name like Rufus on an animal, myself. Next cat? Mongo, next dog? Kibble. Now those are animal names! :D
