Aino? Rhino. I'd go with Aine.
Antoinette is very....busy. And from a historical perspective, Marie Antionette is not a great role model (but hey, I like people who party.)
Ashley is not only a name I find annoying, but I know many Ashleys and hate them all (except Ashley S., but I'm afraid of her.)
If Britney equals Britney Spears, and Britney Spears is vomit, is Britney vomit?
Cleopatra would no doubt be a popular name if it was used more often, but history and the Greeks sorta own this one.
Ginger is adorable, and reminds me of Ginger Rogers.
Mary is simple and pretty, but not my favorite. Plain.
Ariel is beautiful, but will always be womans name to me. I also hate the immediate thought of the Little Mermaid that comes to mind (that movie ruined Ursula too.)
Jacques is nice, but I, guiltily, prefer Jack.
Johannes? Mmmmmmmmm not for me, but respectable.
Ville is nice, but A.) Children would turn into "vile", "villain" or "willy", B) Reminds me of the kid Mary Kay LeTourneau had sex with, and C) I don't find worth all the trouble it creates

Leilani is cute, but unless you are a Pacific Islander would probably come off as weird. (I could go into a huge rant on local/tourist hostility now, but won't.)
Liraz is ok, but is close to "lazy". God forbid the child has a lazy eye. I know its not THAT close, but I was a mean child and would probably have coined a nn involving it.
Loire I can't pronounce and I'm therefore post-poning judgement.
Cosmo always reminds of Sir Cosmo Duff, or a Cosmopolitan. Connotations of wealth AND alcohol? I feel warm already!
Delilah, while being quite the greedy little betrayer, is also a beautiful name, like Jezebel. Is that another Bible message? Beauty is evil? I've noticed the Bible does that a lot. Contradicts all over the place and then expects you to understand every aspect with the threat of eternal damnation and hellfire. Well, no offense, but anything that requires an effort that epic is not for me. Anywho, pretty, very pretty.
Delissa? Really? Why does everybody insist on reinventing the wheel? Now, "del" is an attractive enough way to start a name, like Delia or Delilah, or end it, as with Adele. And "lissa" is quite attractive, what with Clarissa and Melissa. But then come the "spin-offs". Delaney, Delight, Alyssa, Larissa. While often having historical background and offering the promise of something chic and new, it also detracts from the respectability "first" name. But if you GENUINELY love Delissa, I'll give it to you.
Deloire- see Loire (LAW-ree? LWA? LWAR? lwa-RAY? LAWR? this is really pissing me off.)
Delroy- Hmm. Very retro, very 1920's, chic, and not as trashy and '50s as Roy. Nice.

I have a GP quad set... :]
GBBB: Amaterasu Honor / Agathangelos Luc / Astrophel Storm / Azrael Phobos
The only one I can really see my self using is Luc, and it'd probably be a nn for Lucian (but only because me and my bf agree on Lucian). Oh, and Azrael as a middle name, maybe.
So my GPs:
Agathangelos (m)
Aiden (m)
Amaterasu (f)
Astrophel (m)
Evangelos (m)
Hayden (m)
Nemesis (f)
Phobos (m)
Psyche (f)
Saga (f)
Silver (both)
Storm (m)
and a lot of -ton names. Though I might use Ashton (if my bf vetos Ashley).

Agathangelos is daring but not achieveing.
Aiden is fabulous doubtless of it's popularity.
Amaterasu has a great story and is a very important Shinto/Japanese figure, and a nice name (nns Amy, Terry, Sue, Amma, Mattie, etc.)
Astrophel sounds way to much like the baby of a psychic to me.
Evangelos is a handsome Greek name, but I'd really have to choose Evan first.
Hayden=vomit.
Nemesis is ok but I'm not a fan of N names and it reminds me of Star Trek.
Phobos, Psyche and Saga are pretty, regardless of conotation.
Silver is cool-modern (though somewhat over the top), but Storm I just can't handle.

Sorry, I meant that it was trying to achieve a higher status by being different and daring, but not quite getting there.
PS May 19th is my birthday! Go Cusp-of-Taureans!

Ah! Well, it's a GP, so I wouldn't use it, so I'm not trying to be different or anything with it. :] I think it comes from my love of A names and pleasant meanings.
Jakarta makes me think of the starving Indonesians I met while visiting there.
Edina is awesome because it reminds me of "Absolutely Fabulous".
Talitha is a prettier form of Tabitha.
Josephine and Sandrine are both magnificent so I don't understand why they are guilty pleasures.
Hugo I just don't like that much, Hurley and Victor Hugo aside.

Benet reminds me of her too and therefore freaks me out.
Chenoa is ok. Reminds of Brenda Chenowith from Six Feet Under.
Jakirra is weird. It makes me think of a girl I know named Jalexa and Jakarta, Indonesia.
Kama I don't like at all.
Love Pandora. Always will.
Xanthe is fantastic and different.
Alejandro, Caspian and Theo are awesome.
Aloysius is ugly to me and Denver is not my style.

Lettice
Vermilion
Mauve
Lilupar
Ghislaine
Loveday
Bertille
Florentina
Albertine
Axelle
All for girls. There's nothing I like for a boy that I wouldn't use.

Lettice is pretty but (as you've probably heard) is dangerously close to lettuce.
Vermillion is adorable and cute (Vera is one of my faves and would make a great nn)
Mauve is cool, though I think Maeve is better.
Lilipur? Never heard of it but it's alright.
Ghislaine (I pron. it ZHEES-layn) is FANTASTIC.
Loveday? Too hippie-dippy/Valentine's Day for me.
Bertille is awesome (like a Bertha Lucille hybrid), and thank God (who I don't believe in either) you don't live in France (Bastille Day)
Florentina (little flower, right?) is GORGEOUS.
Albertine is pretty nice. I don't like Albert or any of its relatives, but I like the pron. ahl-VAIR-teen.
Axelle is also a GP of mine, but Axl Rose sorta killed it for everyone.

Lilupar is Persian (i'm fairly sure). I have an Indian girlfriend named Lilupar (she's nn'd Lila). I think it's GORGEOUS but don't have the right ethnicity. It means "water lily".
I pronounce Lettice as let-EES but it's definitely not said that way by anyone surrounding me, so on this list it stays.
I never thought about Vera for Vermilion. Maybe I'll work it in as a middle somewhere.
Floretina is little flower, yes. My girlfriends and I had a running joke about St. Little Flower when we were in grammar school, this name came out of that joke but because of that joke, here it stays.
I have Ghislaine in a combo as a second middle: Cecilia Maud Ghislaine but no one else seems to like it. My Grandmother (Cecilia) Great Grandmother (Maud) and Great Great Grandmother (Ghislaine) are all honored and I may very well use it.
The others just strike me as a bit OTT, but I love them just the same. So here they sit, maybe my boys will use them for my grandkids in a few years. (I am significantly older than most on this board).

Lilipur sounds cooler in this new light.
I pron. Lettice the same way as you, though cruel children's taunts don't tend to involve proper pronunciation.
Though I love Vera, Millie could work too.
Florentina remains gorgeous.
Ghislaine is so cool, and my grandmother was Cecile and Cecilia is my favorite name of all time.
And who cares if you're older? You weren't dumb enough to get killed young and now you need to drink your balls off and start smoking. One MUST celebrate properly.

Aristodemos is f*&king fabulous. Excuse the language, but sometimes I see a daring and exciting name that is also ultra-cool and very handsome. In fact, my friend Selina's son is named Aristodamien (ah-rees-toe-DAHM-yen) which she says is French but I've never heard of it. But now I guess it's true. Anywho, don't let such a fantastic name be a GP! I wou;d proudly give my child that name (though my dad would FREAK, my mom probably wouldn't even remember).
PS I'm adding it to my name list.

Thankyou!
I'm so glad someone else likes it!

Cressida and Polymnia I love, I like Phaedra, but Esti and Severn have me sort of in between liking them for being different and disliking them for the phonetical style. So, I am indifferent to them.
Also, I would probably like Laird if it weren't so close to "lard". Sorry. Great choices though! Greek has some of the best names.

Phaedra is on my list. I like Severn because it's connected to my name I like it for both genders.
