Syfanie
That's the name of a clothing store (women's clothes) I saw in Montreal. I rather like it, though people might keep confusing it with Stephanie.

It makes me think of syphilis, unfortunately.Made you look. ;)

The spelling isn't my cup of tea - I would prefer Sifany. Plus, if were to just hear it and not see it, I would probably get it confused with Symphony.

It sort of sounds like Syphilis.

It would get confused with Stephanie. To me it also sounds a bit like Syphillis! (sorry!)

Syfanie...syphillis...I don't like it at all and I think it sounds more like Tiffany than Stephanie.
ETA: I had to correct my spelling of syphillis

I agree with you on both points. Syphillis was my first thought, too, which is why I don't like it much. I'd prefer the name Stephanie, even, or Syfanie as a nn for Tisiphone.

It looks like a kreatyv spelling/variant of Stephanie. I prefer Tisiphone myself.
