I like it as a nickname, for Christina or Christiana perhaps

Ummm.... actually, I love it... for obvious reasons!

Oh, I added it some time ago to my PNL - it's so handsome, short and prfessional. Will fit everyone, for sure.
I've known in my life two Kristas and one Christa, but that doesn't matter to me. I just love the way Christa sounds and looks - much better than Christina or Christine (I hate Tina/e in names). My favourite Christa-combos are:
Christa Finola
Christa Penelope
Christa Juniper
Christa Noemi
Christa Ramona
Christa Evelyn (I love that!)
Christa Hippolyte
Christa Saskie
Christa Elvira
Christa Ulrike
Christa Junia
Christa Mehetabel
Christa Veronique
Christa Marion
Christa Domenica

No. It has a harsh sound, plus I know an arrogant woman with that name and so the name screams just arrogance and pretentiousness to me.

Isn't it funny about name associations? Myself and another girl in school were the quiet smart ones (we both spelled our names Christa), and it was another girl named Krista that was the stuck up snob... so even when I think of my own name, I think of shy nerds!

Horrible and chavvy! I could just about tolerate Christina with the nn Christa...S xx

I've always liked this name. It's so pretty, sweet and it sounds happy! I like the spelling Krista too.

I do not care for it. The only female "Chris" name I like is Christiane.

I really like it as a NN for Christina, but outside of that it's NMS.

reminds me of sleazy strippers, to be honest.

well I know two Christas: 1 is very very uh promiscious and wellhas no regard for others her name is spelled Krista. The other at first I didn't like her she seemed snotty but in the end she turned out to be the nicest of my clinical group in nursing. She spelled her name Crista.Either way I dislike the name.I also think of Crysta the fairy from Fern Gully
