a very twinny sibset
this is from my family tree, a new sibset i found in the late 1800s/early 1900s.there are 13 children including FOUR sets of twins!!DD: Myrtle Verne

DD/DD: Marion Cecil and Mildred Cecilia
DD/DS: Ruth Edna and Rutledge Edward
DD/DS: Kathryn Alberta and Kenneth Albert

DD/DD: Lillian Roma and Lucille Blancheand another family but a very unmatchy twinset: Otto and Faith

Wow. Four sets of twins? She was really something!I agree with Lillian, seeing a boy and girl Albert and Alberta made me wonder if Marion Cecil was a boy. This was a nice find! Lillian Roma is very cute :) I wonder if Rutledge was a family surname? It sticks out a bit.

Altogether fascinating; poor woman who bore them all, I pity her!Are you quite certain that the first set of twins is two girls? Marion Cecil seems quite masculine to me (Marion spelled this way, with the O, is the masculine form), particularly set against Mildred Cecilia, and most especially given the proclivity of these parents to use male and female versions of the same mn for subsequent sets of G/B twins (Edna and Edward, Alberta and Albert).In fact, in light of my suspicion about Marion Cecil, I also question Leslie's sex.

answeri thought the same thing although the source i used said Marion was a girl, however i might follow it up and try to clarify it.
