I like it. I'm a little bit too young, or it is a little too rare, for me to picture it as an old lady name. It reminds me a bit of Ada Lovelace, but that's not a strong impression. I imagine it'd seem fashionable on a new baby. I don't know any. I suppose one could be called Aidie, or Didi, but I don't really think Ada needs a nickname.
