Re: Astrid

I love Astrid. It was my grandmother's name and one of my mn's is her nn for Astrid. If it wasn't for the fact that my sister more or less has made Astrid hers (evil twin ;P) for her future children I really would have liked to name a daughter Astrid (fn or mn).

Yes, Astrid is mine! ;) But you can always use it as a first name since I'm only going to use it as a middle name :P

I think the world has room enough for two little Astrid's.
The world yes, but maybe not the same family. Two cousins with the same name might be confusing, especially if they're close in age.
I don't think it would be too bad in their family, seeing as one is considering it for a fn and the other for a mn.
For two maybe yes, but at the moment there are too may Astrids, at least in Finland (Don't get me wrong - Astrid is fine with me, but I don't really like the A. Lindgren - association). When I open our daily paper with BA's, there seem to be always, always some little Astrids! (According to our name statistic site I'm completely wrong, though. Oh well.) And if not Astrids, then some other Lindgren names like Eemeli, Peppi, Ronja, Lotta and whatever else...
I adore Mio, though, and Ronja was some time on my PNL.

Let's just wait and see who'll have the first daughter
