Lydie is cute, but maybe too cute. I'd rather see Lydia nn Lydie.

I like Lydie but in a French context. In English, I think it'd be mispronounced all the time or just sound weird. I like Lydie Aurore, though.

I prefer Lydia, I think Lydie sounds sort of incomplete. But that's just my opinion!

I like it as a nn for Lydia. I have a friend named Lydia Priscilla and I must say it's one of the best names I've ever seen. Her nn is Lyddie.
