Like Keely said, it reminds me of Cary Grant as well. Not a bad association!
To me the sound is so thoroughly unisex that a bit of confusion upon hearing it would seem normal and not particularly bothersome. Written down I first assume Cary to be male. Personally I only like it as a male name and with this spelling, so perhaps I'd hear it and first think it's male out of wishful thinking. :-)
