Re: Favorite Scottish name?

Lilias is a fairly new PNL-add of mine, and I just love it! I also like the Lileas spelling, and I can't decide which one I prefer. Alasdair (and some of its other spellings as well, besides Alister) as been high on my list for about a year or so, but it never seems to make it into any of my combos. I always try to suggest it to people on the bords though. I love Rory for a boy too. I think the double Rs make it sound so scruffy and masculine, but still sweet and poetic. I love, love, love the meaning of Tadhg, although I know many on here don't. :P
Isla, of course, I think is everyones' favorite. It's not a personal favorite of mine, but I do think that it's lovely. Recently, I stumbled upon Cairistiona [ka-ris-tee-ON-ah]. I'm not sure how usable it is, but I think it's beautiful. Ealasaid [el-a-SAZH] is a new find as well. Grizel is a bit of a GP of mine (so is Griselda actually, now that I think of it). Mairead is gorgeous, but to soft sounding for me to every seriously consider. Sileas is an interesting alternative to Cecilia (a name that I've been looking to honor) and I actually think I may prefer it. Una and Isobel are also very nice, although I don't have much to say about them.
