Triplet Girls
OH my, I am having twin girls! lol...it's exciting though, I can't wait actually! I already have a daughter who just turned 4 and her name is Bretanya Marie. I think the names we've chosen go well with hers. But what do you think of Engrid Lacey, and Aria Elizabeth for the twins? Marie, Lacey, and Elizabeth are all family names. Marie is from my side AND my husbands side of the family, from my Aunt and his Grandmother. Lacey was his Grandmothers maiden name, and Elizabeth is my Grandmothers name. Bretanya, Engrid and Aria, are just names that we like. Well, he doesn't completely like Engrid as much as another name, but he doesn't hate it either.

These other names are NOT mine, they were used by friends of mine last night at the small get-together we had at user name "BrittanyaHSP's" house. She told us about getting opinions on names here, so we wanted to get some also. I'm really not sure why you thought they were all the same person, or even why one person would make up four different stories for no reason. But don't worry, it was a one time thing, we got our name opinions, and most likely won't be back. Sorry if we broke any rules of your site or anything, we didn't know we were doing anything wrong.

The reason I don't believe you..Is that one of the user names is "BrittanyaHSP" and your supposed daughter's name is Bretanya. I could be wrong, but this seems fishy to me. You don't have to be pregnant to post here (most of us aren't), and we'd love to have you around. If you are making this up, there's no shame in admitting it. In fact, many posters here started out as fakers and admitted it, and subsequently were accepted. Just letting you know that if you ARE making it up, you're still welcome to stay and chat if you tell us :)

wow, this is sort of crazy. Well, we are in fact different people. I love this site, and just realized the other day that it had a message board on it, because I only ever used it for names, meaning etc. So I figured I'd get some opinions on my favorite names. And I realize now that perhaps I mislead others to believe that I myself was pregnant by my word usage and whatnot. I'm sorry for that. The only reason I think that if I eventually have children someday, they will come in the order of girl boy girl is because my Aunt showed me this ring trick where you hold it over your hand, blah blah blah, don't know if anyone here has heard of that. But obviously that might not be true, so I am
collecting names of all possible groupings that I would actually use if I ever have children. Starting with the supposed grouping. Now I do realize it might be a problem if I do get married, and my Husband dislikes those names, but it's always good to have a plan, lol. My other two friends are actually pregnant though, but they don't like the name advice I give them, so when I told them about this site they wanted to try it out.
I do see how the BritanyaHSP thing could throw a person off, (with one t not two) But let me explain to you the whole Britanya, Bretanya situation, so you can understand. I am a name addict, and Britanya was my first real favorite name, but only one you keep in a list, not one to actually use on your child (for me anyway) So when my friend Melissa got pregnant with her first Child she wanted to name her that, but changed the I to an E. And I personally think it looks prettier with an i but she liked the e sound in it. So after she was born she asked me to be her God Mother. And I excepted. So I used it as my name here, (it being my first favorite name and all) never thinking that it would become an identity issue. So that's why it's Britanya, and the HSP is for my initials. Heather Sarah Price. So that is the deal with that. Well, If it's okay with you or whoever I need to ask, I'd like to stay here and get help with my list of names.

No problem at allYou sound genuine, and I believe you :) I'm sorry if my post came off as offensive or threatening, I didn't mean it as such. I do hope you'll stay and enjoy being namenerdy with us, and I'm sorry if I kind of gave off a cold greeting. That being said, welcome to the boards, glad to have you!

No it didn't offend me, I understand you asking about it. I'm not sure if it really offended Melissa, but don't worry about it. I'll explain it to her, because she told me she wasn't coming back to this site again, lol... she's so touchy (Melissa, if you ever DO come back, and read this, I'm only saying it because it's true, I still love you though).
But I'm glad to be here, It's so nice to be with other namenerds who understand the name addiction, lol...Well, I'll be posting soon for my next three name grouping. Thanks!

Aria Elizabeth is nice. I really like Engrid, spelled Ingrid, but it really doesn't have the same feel as the other girls fns.

Aria Elizabeth is nice. Engrid really needs to be Ingrid, but either way it reminds me of British actress Ingrid Lacey.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ingrid_Lacey

I didn't even know there was an actress named Ingrid Lacey, lol...well Engrid, or Ingrid is out anyway now...lol. Thanks for your input, every opinion helps! :D

I think Aria Elizabeth is fine. I like Lacey as well, but I really don't like Engrid...or Ingrid lol

Congrats!Aria Elizabeth is beautiful. I don't care much for Engrid though, I prefer Ingrid (but I'm still not crazy about it). How about Inkeri? and I ditto Bear's suggestion of Eseld.

CongratsI love Aria Elizabeth. Great name.Engrid on the other hand is nmsaa (not my style at all :), is there a reason why its Engrid and not Ingrid? I don't like Ingrid, either, but it is better than Engrid, and I think that both clash terribly with Aria Elizabeth.

Yes, I'm stepping into the light...My poor child would feel neglected with an ugly name like Engrid, while her sister is Aria, lol... My Husband is very happy about it, although he probably wouldn't have let me actually name her that, lol. Thank you for giving your opinion! :D

Coongratulations! I love Elizabeth so I like Aria Elizabeth.
I do not like Engrid even if it spelled the more usual way Ingrid. It just sounds harsh and bad to me.

Congratulations! Aria Elizabeth is stunning. Thumbs up.But Engrid? Is there any reason it isn't Ingrid? Won't she get tired of correcting people all the time? How about Eseld? It has the same feeling but wouldn't get confused with Isolde. Good luck and be sure to let us in on the good news when they arrive. Birth announcments are always appreciated. Thanks!

Alternative to Engrid anyone? Like it's hard, lolI guess Engrid is a little harsh to pair with Aria, and she would probably be upset with me as she gets older, lol. I do like Eseld, but my husband doesn't like that either, although he was willing to name her Engrid (silently wishing I would change my mind, he admitted). I think I have too, lol...I do like Eseld, and it means Beautiful. The name he really wanted to name her is Erin, but I really do not like Erin, even though it fits with Aria, maybe too much, and that's why I don't like it. Anyone have some other ideas, it's good to have more then one to choose from. I know I'm being lazy, because I could look myself. But it's nice to see what others think, especially those who know a lot about names, lol. Thanks!

Elodie? It feels the same as the others.

Engrid looks misspelled and really illiterateThat's the reason most of us really don't like it. Ingrid is beautiful.
