Katherine, hands downI love this name, and especially this spelling! The 'C' spelling does absolutely nothing for me. I'm not entirely sure why, but it almost makes me dislike the name.Katherine, on the other hand, is gorgeous in my opinion and is one of my personal faves. It just seems classier. Love it! :-)

I really like both, but I guess I prefer Katherine because I prefer Kate to Cate.

NeitherI prefer Catharine or Katharine. I don't like the e in the middle of the name.

Katherine. I can't stand the look of Catherine. My favorite form of Katherine, though, would have to be Katharina (kah-tah-REE-nah.) It's really pretty. =D I love the nickname Kate, too, for any of the Katherine family of names.

It depends on the name it's paired with. I can go either way. As a fn with the nn Kate, I prefer Katherine. As a mn, I generally like Catherine.
