Arthur
Arthur? It's growing on me, I've heard Artor before as well, and really liked it.
What do you think?
I'd be using Tor or Thur (pronounced like Thor) for a short form as i dislike Art.

It's a great name. Personally, I prefer Art as a nn.

Arthur is one of my top boy names. It's handsome, grows well with a man, has a long history behind it...I just love it.

Reminds of King Arthur or Arthur the television series, but its ok i guess.

Arthur is another name I should add to my "wish I liked" list. It has all the trappings of a fantastic name, but for some reason it doesn't appeal to me.

I love Arthur! I don't like any of the nns, though.

I love Arthur, it's a family name for me. I really don't mind Artie as an occasional nickname but not Art (That was my Great-uncle). Tor is kind of neat for a different occasional nickname. I prefer Arthur in full.

I love the name Arthur! Arthur Weasley is one of my favorite characters ever and I also like Arthur Golden, the author of Memoirs of a Geisha.I don't think this name really needs a nickname but I wouldn't want to use Art either. Art to me looks short for Artemis, which I consider a girls' name.

I like it. It's also a family name for me. It has a very strong sound and of course makes me think of King Arthur, and I've always loved Arthurian legend. I too dislike Art as a nn though. Tor or Tory would be nice. I don't really like Thur either.

I love Arthur! Makes me think of Arthur Weasley and King Arthur.
I don't think Arthur needs a nickname and I don't like Tor, Thur or Art but if you really want a nickname, what about Artie? Or Thure?
