I like it but on a girl it's getting popular for boys.

The Iron LadyMaybe it's because I'm a "foreigner" in every English-speaking country, but I can think only about Margaret Thatcher when I see this name. And I strongly dislike that association.
(The similar thing with Blair - I associate it with Tony Blair and then with The Blair Witch Project :D)

Thatcher is my maiden name. So It has meaning to me. I like it,but doubt if it wasn't my name I wouldn't use it.

I've always been kind of drawn to this name (along with Hunter and Sawyer) despite it being totally different from what I normally like. It's kinda cute and Thatch is pretty quirky as well but I'm not sure I can picture somebody really having this name. I can however see it working well on a fictional character. For some reason I only see it as a name for a middle-aged man. I'm not sure that it would work on a child.

That's richA working class hero who likes Thatcher?eta (Margaret Thatcher seems to have behaved with particular contempt for the working class, and they suffered during her tenure as Prime Minister.)

LOLI didn't think of that Thatcher...well that's totally put me off the name forever now!The name is after the John Lennon song which, to be honest, is also a little bit rich: he wasn't exactly working class was he!?

Yay!A convert! Yeah, Lennon wasn't exactly working class. Probably a better humanitarian role model than Margaret Thatcher though. Maybe. :)PS I just heard that song on the radio a couple days ago.
