Avril?
WDYTO Avril? April has been in my head a lot and now Avril is. And I know Avril Lavigne but I'm not using it so.

I find it a bit bland.
I really dislike Avril - I think it's the combination of the 'v' (which I rarely like in names) and the 'r' straight after. I much prefer April, fresh and sweet. Makes me think of daisies. And kittens... but that's just coz of a book I loved when I was little lol.
Lavigne absolutely ruined the name for me.
Not that I liked it much before, but now I double wouldn't use it, because of her. I could not consciously use the name knowing such a snotty sell-out shares it, and there would no doubt be comparisons.

It's ok. I, along with Lavigne, reminds me of Advil. I prefer April or Abril.
I prefer it to the English April
I adore Avril [m]
it's so sweet and fresh.

I agree.
It's a bit harsh. Averill (ah-VERY-ill) is much prettier IMO.
Since you already mentioned Lavigne I won't bother, but that's immediately where my mind goes.
Aside from that association it's okay. The v in the middle makes it seems a little too rough and growly to me. I definitely prefer April--sweet, but not flimsy. It need a really strong mn though, imo.
