My best friend in junior high (up until our early 20s) is named Gracie Carole. Gracie after her grandmother and Carole after her mother, Carol (the 'e' on the end was just to balance it out, so they say :b). I had a feeling you might like this combo, though. ;)Interestingly, when she was growing up, everyone thought her name was Tracy, and she had to repeat it several times. And then they assumed it was a nn for Grace, which it's not. Then about 5-10 years ago, here come all these little Graces and Gracies. She says it's very weird for her, lol.

Oh! Gracie Carole is a fantastic combo! Thank you very much. :) Your friend had a very cool name even before it became cool by popularity.

Gracie to me sounds like a surname (Gracey), and I have known two Gracey's. Of your combos, I'd favor Gracie Susannah.

MargotYou know, given your taste, you'd seem like a Margot fan.

I do like Margot. :) I can't decide which spelling I like, though" Margot or Margo. I was actually thinking about Gracie Margot last night, but nixed it in favour of Gracie Margaret. However, it may come back into my good graces. ;)

Aw. Gracie Allen was a favorite of mine as well. Gracie Jeanette, Gracie Olivia, Gracie Coraline and Gracie Emmeline are my favorites from your list. Personally, I prefer Gracie as a nn for Grace, Graciela, etc. But just because I can't resist making combinations:Gracie Patricia (after HSH Grace Kelly)
Gracie Eleanor
Gracie Adele
Gracie Cathleen
Gracie Elspeth
Gracie Diane
Gracie Matilda
Gracie Evelyn
Gracie Clementine
Gracie Rosalind
Gracie Helen / Ellen
Gracie EstelleYou like?

Awww, George and Gracie were probably my favourite radio and television couple. I love Jack Benny, but I REALLY don't care for Mary Livingstone (I'm trying to keep it civil, LOL).Normally, I would agree with you that I'd prefer Gracie as a nickname, but lately I've been watching too much Burns and Allen on YouTube and Gracie has grown on me even more.My favourites from your list are:Gracie Eleanor- very nice. Very, very nice.Gracie Matilda- too cute! My favourite! I see a precocious, bubbly little girl full of sunshine and a happy, confident woman.Gracie Evelyn- I believe one of Miss Allen's (three) middle names was Evelyn. I *think* her name was Grace Ethel Rosalie Evelyn. I believe I'm correct on the names, just not the order in which they go.Gracie Clementine- adorable. Gracie Rosalind- I just finished watching The Women again, which aired for the Joan Crawford birthday marathon on TCM, and Rosalind Russell was fan-freaking-tastic and a hoot. I decided that Rosalind was going on my list, so how wonderful that you pair it with Gracie. :)Gracie Helen / Ellen- I really like Gracie Helen, though today, I'm loving Gracie Ellen just a tad bit more.Thank you for all the lovely suggestions!

I think Gracie is a bit childish and nicknamey but it's kind of cute. I think all of your combos are good. A short name like that needs a longer middle name with more substance imo. Gracie Susannah and Gracie Olivia are my favorites.

A short name like that needs a longer middle name with more substance imo.I tend to agree. I think a three- or four-syllable name would complement a shorter name, such as Gracie, the best.
