Re: Survey
1. If you love a name that is popular (like top 30 or so) would you still use it?
A. Yes2. Just answer these with a number(s) or does not matter
If a name is one syllable like Anne, Jane, Rose...recommend a middle name 3 syllables
If the first name is two syllables 1 or 2 syllables for middle name
If the first name is three syllables 1 or 2 syllables for mn
If the fn is four syllables 1 syllable for mn3. Do you like these names on a girl, boy, or none?
A. Jordan - boy
B. Jamie - none
C. Alexis - none
D. Madison - I want to say boy, but I'd immediately think a kid called Madison was a girl thanks to its popularity4. Name a name for each generation or decade that is distictivly for that only when you see it.
1950s - Linda, Barbara, Deborah, Pamela
1960s - Kathleen, Susan, Lisa, Patricia, Jeffrey
1970s - Jennifer, Melissa, Amanda, Brian, Eric
1980s - Tiffany
1990s - Ashley, Brittany, Samantha, Taylor, Tyler
2000s - Madeleine, Madison, Aidan, Jayden, Isabella, Olivia, Ruby, Jacob5. Would you ever name a child a name that is distictivily out of place with the time. An "old fashioned" name like Florence on a 2008 baby? Oh sure, most of my favourites look out of place anyway (not necessarily with time, but just generally a bit out there)
