1. If you love a name that is popular (like top 30 or so) would you still use it?
A. Yes - but only if I really really love it. Generally I am not a fan of top 30 names, so this isn't often a problem
2. Just answer these with a number(s) or does not matter
If a name is one syllable like Anne, Jane, Rose...recommend a middle name 3 or 4 syllables
If the first name is two syllables 1, 2 or 3 syllables for middle name
If the first name is three syllables 1 or 2 syllables for mn
If the fn is four syllables 1 syllables for mn
3. Do you like these names on a girl, boy, or none?
A. Jordan - boy
B. Jamie - neither
C. Alexis - neither
D. Madison - neither
4. Name a name for each generation or decade that is distictivly for that only when you see it.
Margaret - my grandparents' generation
Simon - my parents' generation - I would like to see this come back, but I do associate it with this generation because my dad's name is Simon and he has sooo many friends with the same name!
5. Would you ever name a child a name that is distictivily out of place with the time. An "old fashioned" name like Florence on a 2008 baby?
Yes, if I loved the name
