Correct me if I'm wrong, but...

I think this is how you pronounce some of these names. I'm trying to learn Irish Gaelic so..."mh" is pronounced like the English 'v'
"ao" like 'ee'
"ia and ai" like 'ee'
"dh" like 'y' (as in Toirdhealbhach pronounced tor-YEL-uv-akh)
"thne" like "nya" (as in Eithne, pronounced EN-ya or sometimes closer to Edna)
"nait" like "nat"
"gh" is silent or occasionally like a hard "g"
"eo" like "Yo or O"
"ch" like "k"
"se" like "sh"
"ea" like a long "a"
"uar" like "or"
Saraid and Maraid are pronounced SAW-rid and MAW-rid
Iarfhlaith is prnounced Ear-lieHope this helps. I'm pretty sure this is how everything is pronounced, but I may be incorrect. I am still learning!-Jecca
