I love it - my grandmother's name was Naomi. It was pronounced NAY-oh-mee, but her nickname was Ny. My older son would call her Grandma "Oh-mee" because he couldn't pronounce it when he was little. If I ever had a daughter, I would use Naomi eiher as the first name or a middle name...Mom to Corbin Michael, Colin William, and Gavin John

I love NAY-oh-me, not nay-OH-me. The sound is just lovely :)

I also love Naomi.

Naomi is one of my favorites! It's pretty, but it's not overly mature-sounding or too childish. It's nice, and refreshing.

Makes me think of Naomi Campbell. Other than that it is very nice and refreshing to see on a little baby girl.

I used to really dislike Naomi but it has grown on me. I think someone here mentioned awhile ago that it could be pronounced "nah-oh-mee" instead of "nay-oh-mee", and I find the former much prettier. I probably wouldn't use it though (not as a first name anyway) because where I live I've only heard the name pronounced "nay-oh-mee", which I don't like nearly as much. I also really like Noemi which avoids the 'y' sound I dislike in "nay-oh-mee".

I really quite like it. I like the combo Naomi Kate, which unfortunately sounds like I'm obsessed with supermodels lol. I like the prn NAY-o-mee more than NY-o-mee.

I love it. I've only ever met one Naomi and she's awesome, so I have a really positive association with it, too. :D

I have a cousin with the name, but I have never cared much for it. It sounds a little dippy to me.

I think Naomi is a lovely name. I'm really starting to like it as a middle name, myself.
