1. WDYTO Carson?
It's okay. Sort of trendy but better than Braden / Kaden / Jaden.
2. Is it too surnamey?
Well, it is a surname... Whether's it's too surnamey is entirely dependent on how one feels about surnames as given names, now doesn't it? For myself, it's not so bad.
3. Any middle name suggestions?
Anything but Daly, I would think, would be acceptable. ;D
Don't pair it with another trendy two-syllable name or surname ending in N, and you should be okay. Match it with something more traditional, maybe.
Carson Alexander
Carson Benedict (everything, and I mean everything, goes well with Benedict imo *LOL*)
Carson Daniel
Carson Joseph
Carson Lawrence
4. Would you prefer it on a girl?
Only, and I repeat only, if her first name were Scarlett. ;D
Otherwise it's a boy's name, imo. The whole -son thing. Y'know.
