Lila?
What can Lila be a nickname for? The only one I can think of are Elizabeth and Caroline (stretch I know, but I also like Charlotte nickname Lola which is similar) Any and all ideas are welcome even if they are a stretch!

Could be for Delilah too, but I like Lila as a full name. I do not like how people are spelling it Lilah, however.Lila Catherine
Lila Frances
Lila Margaret
Lila Sophia

Leilani perhaps.
I love that name!
My great-aunt was named Eliza but was always known as Lylie, so Lila could be used for Eliza (as well, of course, as Elizabeth as you've noted).

I think Lila (LYE-lah) is perfectly gorgeous on its own, and doesn't need to be a nn for a longer name. Delilah is the only one I can think of that's totally legit, off the top of my head at least. But you can name her Tinkerbell and call her Lila, honestly. :b (Please don't. LOL.)

those are what I thought of tooIt depends on how you'd pronounce Lila. I'd pronounce it LIE-la, which is what made me think of Delilah and Lilac first. You could pronounce it LEE-la or LIL-a too, and that could change what it could be short for.
