In the magazine In Touch Max and Emme are short for Maximiano and Emelina.

I don't like Maximiano. It looks like an unfinished or misspelled version of Maxamiliano. I would also prefer the nickname Maxim and not Max.

I know, but I like it spelled Maksim...(m)

...but then it wouldn't go with Maximiano.
