Italian/latin boy names that work in English?
Do you think these names work in English speaking countries...Matteo
Marco
Enzo
Francesco
Emilio
Paolo..any other ideas, we are trying to find a latin name that also works in English without sounding too awkward

I think any of them would work in an English speaking country because they're common Italian names that English speakers would be familiar with and wouldn't have a problem pronouncing.

Metteo, Marco, amd Emilio would be okay.
As for latin names, Adiran, Agosto, Antos, Wincent, and almost any other name not ending in 'us'.

I think all of them would work in English (I'm in Britain). The only one I'd be a bit hesitant to use would be Emilio, only because Emily as a girl's name is so popular at the moment and it sounds quite similar. But it wouldn't be too much of a problem, I'm sure.I really like Matteo but I like all of the names. Have you thought about Luca? I like that.

I have the same issue, since I'm originally from Italy but live abroad. Of the names you mention, I think they would all work except Francesco (my name's Francesca and some people mispronounce it) and maybe Enzo. Other ones that could work IMO are:
Leonardo
Lorenzo
Adriano
Carlo

I think any of those names would work, there's nothing there that has an unusual pronunciation and the only one that doesn't have an English equivalent is Enzo. My favourites are Matteo and Paolo.
Other suggestions - Lucas, Antonio, Federico ??
