Cousin had Twins!
They were born on Feb. 26 at 8:03 AM through c-section. Both girls are 19 inches long. Ava is 7 pounds, 2 oz with red hair and Leah is 6 pounds, 5 oz with black hair. They were both born healthy and normal and are the cutest things! Parents are Stacy Lynn and Terrence Joseph. They picked their children's middle names by taking both their mother's middle names. Leah Jo and Ava Lee are the twins full names. I didn't like the whole Leah/Lee thing, but Lee is just the middle name so I guess it doesn't matter, because they are honoring someone. Anyway, wdyt of the names?

I like Ava and Leah, but I'm not to fond of the middle names. Congrats to them!

Congratulations to your cousin. I can understand that the Leah/Lee may bee very similar. However, I love that they used the names to honor themselves. I love honoring names. Therefore I love the combos.

aohhaoaha! I almost died of boredom when I read just their first names. It seems like Ava and Leah are always in the same classic but cute category and I'm really tired of hearing them. I agree with you regarding Leah/Lee but couldn't Leah have honoured Lee too? just a thought

I love the name Ava and I also love Jo and Lee as the mn's. Not a fan of Leah, although it does work well with Ava.

Ava and Leah are perfect together. They were really big twins! Leah Jo and Ava Lee are cute, but really short. I like it altogether though. MNs don't really matter, unless Ava decides to go by hers.

I like Ava, that's about it. They should have swited their names though, the red head should be Leah and the one with black hair should be Ava.

I really like Ava and Leah, they're two of my favorites, and I also like the middle names. Congratulations on your new cousins, they sound adorable with pretty names to match.

They're both nice names, but I don't care for the MNs much. Even though my mom's MN is Jo, I just don't think it goes well with Leah. I think Leah Josephine and Ava Lynette would have work nicely, and the still would have honored their parents. But all together, I think the names work well as a twin set. Congrats to you and your family!

They're okay, though pretty predicatble. Where do they get Lee from if the mother's mn is Lynn?

they're named after their grandmothers. They got the last names by taking their mothers middle names... They being the parents. Either Joseph was after his mother, or that's just a strange coincidence.

Ava Lee - I love Ava (a favorite of mine), but am not too fond of Lee. I'd prefer the spelling Leigh (and even then, it's just okay for me). Overall, the combo seems short...not incomplete, but Ava seems better suited with a longer MN.Leah Jo - Leah is nice enough, but Jo on its own is dnmsaa. I'd much prefer Josephine or Josette. This combo seems rather short, too.The sister set is cute, though.

Great names! Leah and Ava are very good. The middle names are fine with them. I do not care for the Lee thing as you said it is the middle name and completly different in their case. If it was Leah and Lee, that would be another case. I know that Catarina said they sound "incomplete". They sound short to me but still nice. They sound like a first name like Mary Ann but that is kind of cool but most people will not know their middle names.

Yay! I love Leah and I love Ava, and I think it makes a wonderful set, but I strongly dislike their middle names. Also, I think since both names are so short, they'd need a longer middle name. Like that it sounds just too... uhm, incomplete?

That's exactly what I think, but at least it's only their middle names.
