Colbie?!?
I heard a song by a singer named Colbie Caillat today. Does anyone here actually like it? All I can think is, "Oh my gosh, why did your parents name you after cheese?"

Hate the name, always have, always will. I too think of cheese, even though that's Colby.

I have known two Colby's..well one female Colby and one male Kolbe. I like it as a mn for Maximilian after St. Maximilian Kolbe.

I like Colby for a boy or girl, but not the spelling Colbie. Coby for a boy or girl is nice also.

It makes me cringe each time I hear it, espeically since I know it's spelt "Colbie".

Colby for a boy, yes. Colbie on a girl, no.I knew a sibset; Matthew, Shane and ColbyI don't know, it's okay on a boy. I've never liked it on Colbie Caillat though. If you're going to name your kids after an object/food/color/weather pattern/etc, at least spell it right.

I grew up with a boy named ColbyHe was, and is, a total sweetheart. And he grew up to be quite the stud. ;DSo I have good associations with the name, but for me it's quite masculine.

I'm not familiar with the cheese (or the singer - male or female?) but I do have a guilty pleasure for Colby for a boy. It's the same with Colton. I shouldn't like them, but I do.

I'm not familiar with the singer (or the cheese)but the name is horrid for both genders.

I like the name Colbie - but I would spell it Colby. And I know it'll make some people sick, but yes, I do like Kolby and Kolbe. Even though Colby Jack cheese is my favorite, this name never reminds me of it until someone mentions it.

Ugh, both to Colbie Caillat and her name. Neither one holds any appeal to me at all.Array
