I don't feel that the klo-ay prn is stupid. I honostly prefer klo-ay to klo-ee, but keep in mind that this is just my opinion.
People mispronouncing your name is something you will have to get used to. I don't understand why people aren't getting that you're name is pronounced klo-ee. I mean, they probably will mispronounce your name before they get used to it.
I know a girl who's name is Syrah. It's pronounced like Sarah. People often, often say "SIE-ruh" or "SEE-ruh". When people mis-say her name she just says something along the lines of "It's pronounced Sarah, thank you".
I find it absurd that even after you corrected them multiple times on the correct pronounciation of your name, they couldn't get it and resorted to your middle name. When this happens, maybe you could say "Could you please call me by my first name, Chloe?" and emphasize that Chloe is pronounce klo-ee.
