Olivia or Alivia?
which do you prefer? MN's to go with it?

Definitely Olivia! I love this name (my second favorite girls' name), and Alivia, though not terrible, doesn't do much for me. It's not the worst spelling out there, but Olivia seems so much more classy and traditional. Middle name suggestions:

Olivia Rose
Olivia Katherine
Olivia Marie
Olivia Grace
Olivia Hope
Olivia Margaret
Olivia Audrey
Olivia Brooke

I'd say go with either... I knew an adorable girl named Alivia, and I've never met an Olivia. (My mom bought letters for Alivia's room when she was adopted though, because my brother and I were friend's with the family's older kids. She had to go back to the store to trade the O for an A when I told her).

As far as nontraditional spellings go
Alivia is one that I don't mind. I prefer Olivia but Alivia doesn't necessarily make me cringe.
For combos' sake I'll go with Olivia but you can assume I think they'd be interchangable. With it I like:
Olivia Jane
Olivia Catherine
Olivia Margaret
Olivia Eleanore / Leonore
Olivia Rosaline
Olivia Helene
Olivia Johanna
Olivia Jeannine
Olivia Greer
Olivia Hyacinth
Olivia Carole
Olivia Corrine
Olivia Abigail
Olivia Therese
Olivia Manola
Olivia Marcelline
Olivia Lucine
Olivia Lucette
ETA: On an added note, I love the similar Livia.
