Rachel & Samantha
Two of my current favorites for a girl are Rachel and Samantha. In addition to liking the names separately, I decided that Rachel Samantha and Samantha Rachel would make good combos. What do you think of the two names, both on their own and with the combos mentioned (and which combo do you like better if you have a preference)?

Rachel has always been a fave of mine and I also really like Samantha a lot. Either combo works very nicely.

I love the name Rachel, but it's not my favorite name. I would use Rachel as a mn. Samantha is average to me. I would not use Sam or Sammy as a mm, however.

Samantha is growing on me but I still wouldn't say I like it; Samuela is my favorite related name, provided Samantha actually does come from Samuel.I love Rachel. I prefer the spelling Rachael but either way, I think it's a very sweet name. Rachel Samantha would be my pick between the combos. Other names I like with Rachel:Rachel Rebecca
Rachel Miriam (as Rachael Miriam it's on my own favorites list)
Rachel Susannah
Rachel Olivia (love this one as well)
Rachel Maria
Rachel Naomi
Rachel Veronica
Rachel Cassandra
Rachel Johanna
Rachel Meredith
Rachel Caroline

I like both names on their own, and Samantha Rachel flows very nicely.

I really like Rachel.
Samantha is okay, not a favorite of mine but it is perfectly fine on someone else.
That being said I'm going to have to choose Rachel Samantha.

I like both, but don't love either enough to use them. They do sound good together, either as sisters or in a combo. I think, of the two of them, Rachel is prettiest, but Samantha has more edge - I would probably go for Samantha Rachel, myself.

I like Samantha a lot. Rachel is great too but I like Samantha more. The combo is great. The names go well together and fit. Samantha Rachel is better in my opinion because of course I like the names better and it has a better flow.

I love both names. Very pretty, and would make a good sibset.Rachel Samantha- perfect
Samantha Rachel- perfect...One suggestion:
When I think of a 3 syllable first name, I think elegant. I feel like the middle name should either be 1 or 3 syllables.Examples:
Jacqueline Diana (my name, bad example lol)
Samantha Rae (just a combo I like it, and you may too!)But then again, they're not my names. Sorry. I get carried away. =/ETA: I really love those names, so I kept reading them over, and both of them are absolutely georgeous. Nevermind what I said. The suggestions are only suggestions.

Samantha is a name I have loved since childhood, mostly due to Elizabeth Montgomery playing Samantha in 'Bewitched'. Rachel is fine, but I feel its like my own name Nicole, in that it doesnt stand out and you're bound to meet numerous others. You still hear Samantha's , but not so much.
I think I'd prefer Samantha paired with a different name, though I havent had time to think of any just now!

i find rachel to be quite pretty depite its popularity. samantha has never appealed to me and with the name samantha the nickname sam is unavoidable.

Rachel isn't very exciting, but it's a nice name, and I like it alright.Samantha's rather dated, but it's still kind of cool; it probably helps that it's my cousin's name.I like Rachel Samantha better than Samantha Rachel because I prefer Rachel as a name over Samantha; the flow of the former is also better. Both combos feel a little dated, though.

Both the combos are nice. I like Samantha Rachel a bit better.I like Samantha, it's on my list, but I prefer Samara. I'm pretty neutral toward Rachel. It's my own name, so I'm pretty tired of it.
