I like Shae, Shay and Shea, but only on a girl, sorry.

It feel unfinished to me.

If it were a full name and the shortened to Shae I think I'd prefer it, but again, because my name is Shayna, Shay seems way to feminine for a boy to me. And I'm all about the girly boy names.

I think of Shay and most especially Shae as being very feminine. Also very tryndee, not quite as ubiquitous a mn as Grace, but getting there. So I'd never want to see a great name like Alexander being stuck in the mn slot for Shay/Shae. Alexander Shea might be okay.

I prefer Shay, because it's the tradtional spelling. Plus, Shae looks more feminine IMO (because of the 'e'). Shay Alexander is safe, but nice.
