WDYT of Nox?
It is no variation on the name Knox, It's meaning is night/darknessNote: I have, so far as I know made this up as a name, or at least, it does not exist on the BtN database. I would like honest opinions :0)

Knox would be an improvement, imoBut both Nox and Knox are pretty unappealing.

I flavoured the TV sci-fi series Stargate SG-1. The Nox was aliens from the planet............

I don't like it. I don't like Knox either. It would be fine in the mn slot.If it has a meaning than how is it that you made up the name?

I'm not entirely sure I made it up but...It isn't on this database and I have never seen it as a name before. I THINK (but am not entirely sure) that this is the Latin word for dark.

it's from Harry Potter as far as I know

Most of the stuff from Harry Potter is based of real things...Especially the spells.

When I hear the word Nox, my mind automatically goes to Harry Potter. Nox is the spell to counteract Lumos, meaning if you have the light on your wand, Nox gets rid of it. (This may just be because I'm a huge Harry Potter freak.)
