A child will have to interact with billions of other people in his life other than his parents, and it's not because the parents have chosen to neglect a name's bad associations that everybody else will too or that necessarily the child won't mind, or will like his name just because his parents did.
As for sounding nice, a lot of words/names sound nice but still have connotations that are too negative to ignore. Adolf and Benito would be perfectly legitimate nice-sounding names if they didn't designate two bloodthirsty tyrants who led the world in a destructive war.
