I like it, but I much prefer just Millie / Milly as the full name. Millie is on my list actually and it was also the name of my first car!

I like it, though it's not something I would necessarily use. I have good associations with it, though. I grew up with a little girl--she's 30 now--named Millicent nn Millie (I like the name Millie, but only as a nn). Her mom's reasoning for naming her this was her grandmother's name was Vermel nn Mellie, and Millie sounded similar.

I think Millicent is lovely. It has that old-fashioned, classic, but underused quality that I really love. Millie is such a fun nick name as well.

I like it. I wouldn't use it myself, but it makes me happy to see it used by someone else. Milly/Millie sould be a sweet nn.

I used to like it, but someone on this board once said that it reminded them of "militant" and now I can't think of anything else when I hear the name. Oh well. At least it's something different.

I've always kind of liked it. Also Mildred. And there's the possibility of the cute nick-name Milly.

Reminds me of Millicent Bulstrode from Harry Potter. Here is a character description from mugglenet.com."A Slytherin in Harry's year. She is large and square and has a heavy jaw which she sticks out aggressively. During Harry's second year, she was a lot bigger than he was. She was partnered with Hermione at Lockhart's Duelling Club and the two ended up brawling. Hermione took the opportunity to retrieve what she thought was one of Millicent's hairs for her Polyjuice Potion, but it turned out to be a cat hair. Millicent joined Umbridge's Inquisitorial Squad in her fifth year, and took great delight in apprehending Hermione when she and Harry broke into Umbridge's office."

I do like it, I can't say that I would ever use it though.

You hate it? I think it's a lovely name. I like the way it looks and sounds and Millie / Milly as a nickname is really cute.

DittoMillicent is not my favourite name in the world, but it has its own charm.

I like it. Doubt I'd ever think of using it though.

Sorry...!Sorry but I have to go all Harry Potter. Millicent Bulstrode....had a cat (because Hermione turned into one....through Polyjuice Potion in 2nd year) and was in Slytherin. She was sort of a jerk.~Other than that I sort of like the name Millicent. Also, I had a teacher named that but she went by Milly (outside of the classroom that is).
