Vanamo
I was just reading the BAs from home and I came across twins named Vanamo Beatrice Anouk and Linnéa Markleigh Alexis. I have never noticed the name Vanamo before and was just wondering what everyone thought. I love names with the letter V and I'm sort of intrigued. Does anyone know how it's pronounced?
I think the two names together are matchy in terms of meanings and I would say little Vanamo won out in the middle names department (I really dislike Markleigh and Alexis, but like Beatrice and Anouk). I LOVE Linnea though...

Aww. Linnea & Vanamo as a twinset. I like it when twinsets match in a non-obvious way.
I'm actually Finnish myself, but I've never ever heard of anyone called Vanamo. It's very rare. Linnea is much more popular here. I prefer Linnea myself, too, but Vanamo is very nice as well.
Vanamo Beatrice Anouk is a gorgeous, gorgeous name. I like all the names individually, and the combo flows very well. I love Linnea, too, but I *loathe* Markleigh, which IMO looks made-up and hideously trendy, and I only like Alexis on a boy.

Vanamo is nice. It's pronounced VAHN-ah-moh in Finnish. I love Beatrice and Anouk. I like Linnea. Markleigh is yucky and I love Alexis for boys.
