I don't like it sorry - the sound is unattractive (nie-GEE-lee-uh - makes me think of something congealing) and I also think of a name snark in a Terry Pratchett book:
Nigella, a name that means "oops we wanted a boy" (from "Soul Music" . . . I think).
I know it's Nigelia not Nigella, but the thought is the same: d'oh, we were going to name 'him' after grandpa Nigel, what are we going to name her?
