I don't think it's too nicknamey - I can see Zoe well on an adult - it's classic, it has a nice meaning and doesn't try too hard. :)

I love the name and the meaning. I don't know if I would ever get around to using it. I hate that some see it as this trendy new name, when it is really a very old Greek name.

I love it, but could never use it as I have a 17 year old cousin with this name, who I see often.

I prefer the pronunciation "Zo-ay" (using the 2 little dots above the "e" when spelling out) as opposed to just "Zo-ee." Personally, I'd probably never use either because she'd most likely end up with the nn "Zo-Zo" which I LOATHE (sorry, bad association a few years ago). However, I know a young girl now whose name is Zoe Anna (pr. Zo-ay; again, dots over e) and I think that's a beautiful combination.

I like the name Zoe.

Sometimes I think it tries too hard to be spunky, but mostly I just think it *is* spunky.

I don't think it would age well at all. Sounds way too 'Muppets' (the cartoon!) for me.
