Honoria
I have been thinking about Honoria for a while. What do you think?
Also, how would you pronounce it? I am inclined to pronounce it "on OR ee a," like the word "honor." I have also heard "hun OR ee a" and I'm not sure which I like best.

I liked it until I read myrrah's post about gonorrhoea... I do still love Honora though.
Ditto.
I like it, especially with the nickname Norah. I think it's very pretty.
I've always heard it pronounced on-OR-ee-ah like honor.

Unfortunately it makes me think of gonnorhea. Honor would be lovely though.
I prefer Honor on a boy and Honora on a girl. Honoria bothers me because of the ria part I just find it odd sounding with Honor sorry.
The OR ee a ending is not attractive to my ears. Although I do give the name kudos for being unique. I happen to love Honour (as a male name - this site lists it as feminine) and Honora.
I prefer Honor (as in English actress Honor Blackman) and Honora (HoNORa)(from which Nora is derived).
I would pronounce Honoria the first way you describe, emphasis on NOR.
