I adore the name Ursula. I'm in shock someone else is asking about it. Yay!
I find it very elegant and the fact that it starts with a "u" attracts me strangely.
I associate the name with sexy Ursula Andress, the first Bond girl. Also, St. Ursula.
Sula is a cute nn. Others I've thought up include Ursa, Lulu, and Susie.
I hope to meet a little Ursula one day. This next generation needs more of them.

Thanks for this. I've gotta say, I'm totally in love with this name right now. It is so lovely. I find it a powerful and serious name that also has an edge to it. And the sound is beautiful. This might be my kiddo's name...
