I love it and I consider it (as a third or fourth name, not first).

I love it. It sounds like an adorable little girl and a pulled-together down-to-earth woman. It's beautiful.

I've loved it ever since meeting a very cute little girl with this name (she's probably be around 5 or 6 now).

Astrid is a great name! Beautiful, strong and spunky : )

I've always loved this name! Mainly because my favorite book is White Oleander, but I also just love the name and the meaning. I've always wanted to use it for a cat, but I wouldn't use it for a child ... it's just bit "out there".

I like it - it seems very classy and elegant, while remaining unique. It reminds me of old Hollywood days and European actresses.

It's not the kind of name I'd use but it's very nice.

I love Astrid and I'm planning on using it as a middle name. (Astrid was my grandmother's name).

It's lovely, and so underused. As you probably know, Queen Astrid of Belgium was a much-loved figure, beautiful and elegant, tragically killed in a motor accident at a young age. I think there must be little Astrids in Belgium as well as Scandinavia, but it seems ripe for adoption elsewhere.

I really like it. I wouldn't use it myself, but I'd really like to see it out there.

Astrid is gorgeous! Preferably, for myself, I'd use it as a middle name. However it would be very refreshing to see it on someone else's child.
