I really hate it, sorry. It's harsh, abrupt, extremely trendy, and a nickname. I can only see it on a mischevious little boy or a teenage criminal. John "Jack" is much better.

Personally, I've always liked the name Jack.
Jack was my grandfather's name and from my personal knowledge [and from what i've been told] when he was alive, I was the only person he was ever nice to.
I know way too many Johns and too many bad experiences with Johns.But thank you for your opinion
