Nicknames for Amelia and Eleanor
Alright, so I am in love with the sibset of Amelia and Eleanor right now. I recently thought of using Milly or Millie as a nn for Amelia. (I can't use Lia, although I love it, because it is too similiar to my own name.) So, I feel as if I need to define a nn for Eleanor as well. Which of these Eleanor nn's do you think goes best with Milly/Millie? Ella
Elle
Noor
Lenore
Nell
Ellie
Nora / NorahAlso, do you have any other suggestions for Amelia nn's besides Amy, Lia, and Millie/Milly? Any more suggestions for Eleanor nn's besides what I have listed?

Millie and Nora would be a cute sibset, but I like Lenore as well as a nn.
Other possible nns for Amelia would be Melia and, maybe a stretch, Lily.

I was going to suggest Mia as a nn for Amelia, because I've heard that used before. But since you can't use Lia, I figure Mia is out too. I like Milly and Ella the best.

Mimi! I love Mimi for Amelia.Milly works fine, but it makes me feel slightly ill for some reason.
My favorite for Eleanor is Nora. There's also Elen, I guess.

If I had an Amelia, I'd call her Mealy-bird, which I doubt helps anyone, but! Amelia could be: Melie (I'm not sure how you'd want to spell it, but prn. MEE-lee--I suspect the associations with the word "mealy" might be a bit offputting, but it's the spelling I prefer, because it's clear)
Allie
Ailie (again, not sure how you'd want to spell it, but AY-lee)
Mel
Melly
Mella
Amma (AM-ah, like the word "am")
May (a bit of a stretch, but doable)
Mia (which has never appealed to me)As far as Eleanor goes, my favourite nickname for it has always been Lennie. I like Nell best of what you've listed--definitely my second favourite.Array
