Isabela
I used to love the names Isabelle & Isabella. But lately I've been liking the spellings Isabel and Isabela. But would Isabela look strange on someone who's not of Spanish origin? I've also been trying to think of middle name's for Isabela. But all I can think of is Isabela Anne. Which I find very plain. Any suggestions?

I definitely prefer Isabelle and Isabella, but Isabel and Isabela are still nice. I do not think Isabela would look funny on someone who isn't Spanish. I do like that the spelling isn't as common as Isabella would be.Isabela Anne is a little plain, you're right, and it seems very vowely to me. Here are some sugesstions:Isabela Faith
Isabela Claire
Isabela Morgan
Isabela Jane
Isabela Cecily \ Isabela Cecile
Isabela Margaret
Isabela Sharon
Isabela Ruth
Isabela Meredith
Isabela Diane
Isabela Christine \ Isabela Christian \ Isabela Kristin

Isabela Viktorie
Isabela Josephine

I definitely prefer the Isabel and Isabela spellings (though Isobel is my favorite). I think Isabela would fine on someone without Spanish origin, just like Isabella and Isabelle look fine on someone who's not Italian or French. :)
