Probably Cara, maybe Kara, but never Carah

I love the name Cara! Don't like it with the h though. I would pronounce it CAR-ah, never heard it the other way

Cara is definitely my prefered way...do really need an imaginary 'h' added on to Cara? Carah, being an illegitimate variant would constantly be spelled 'Cara', without an h. It would be pronounced "CAIR-ah" to me, the way my cousin Kara pronounces her name.

I pronounce both the same way, as CAR-rah. I prefer the spelling Cara.

I pronounce Cara CA-ruh (CA as in cat). It's my middle name.
I pronounce Carah (which looks stupid, imo) CAHR-uh (CAHR as in Car).

It ticks me off when people pronounce it CAIR-uh.

I prefer Cara and would be comfortable pronouncing it KAIR-uh or KAR-uh. I've known plenty of both, so I wouldn't want to assume.

My impulse would be to pronounce Carah as KAR-uh, but it wouldn't surprise me to hear KAIR-uh instead.

The H on Cara looks ridiculous to me--entirely unnecessary.

Cara can be pronounced both CAHR-ah and CARE-ah, and so I'd ask rather than guess, personally. On first glance, my inclination would be to CARE-ah, though.

I would pronounce them both CAR-ah. But if I met a CAIR-uh, then I wouldn't complain and insist it was CAR-ah.
