I prefer the spelling Tamera. I knew a girl in high school named Tamera (prn. TAM-ra), so that spelling is more familiar to me.

It certainly gets the preferred pronunciation across, but it's a bit too abrupt-looking in appearance. I prefer Tamara / Tamera (but I pronounce it tuh-MARE-uh, so I'm no help, lol).I've also got a soft spot for Tamla, which is probably even less usable, since it was a Motown record label! :D But Tamla has such a pretty sound, and everyone likes Martha and the Vandellas, right? ;)Array
