Vered
I love the name Vered. I'm not sure I'm in love with the look of the name, but I think the sound is gentle and pretty (I have a thing for names with v's) and I love the meaning. Opinions? Combo ideas? Is it useable for someone who is not Jewish? Thanks!

I'm not Jewish but I like a lot of Hebrew names. SInce this one has quite a "neutral" meaning and is not stereotypically Jewish I think it's useable.
As for the name itself, I still haven't decided if I like it or not.

People will probably assume it's a form of Vera or Verity.
I like it better than its alternative, Varda.

I love Vered! The sound is lovely, though it is a bit unusual for English eyes, but a double-take isn't always bad :)I think it's very useable - I don't think most people will recognise it is hebrew, it doesn't have any particularly harsh sounds that are tell-tell signs, and it's meaning is neutrally/universally lovely :)A few combo ideas...
Vered Celia or Celia Vered (heavenly rose0
Vered Winifred
Vered Noreena
Vered Martha (rose lady?)
Vered Louisa
Vered Irena (rose of peace?)
Vered Adora (possibly too sappy though ;)

Vered is lovely. I find it to be beautiful in such a unique way, and just love such names. I think its usable for someone who isn't Jewish because most people won't know the difference, however it might be a little difficult as far as having to tell people how to spell it all the time and things like that.Vered Lucinda
Vered Michelle
Vered Eulalie
Vered Yael (Maybe too Hebrew)
