wdyto Shivani?
I don't know if this has been posted about before. If so, my apologies! :]
I have had a friend since I was young who is of Indian heritage (meaning India, not Native American), and who has a little sister named Shivani.
I never really thought much about her name, but I recently got back in contact with my friend and I find the name beautiful.
I was wondering what all of you thought about it?
pronounced: SHIV-ahn-ee or sheev-AHN-ee
(varies depending on who's saying it with what accent)

Being Jewish what stands out to me is Shiva.
I would say it shi-VAHN-ee, and I quite like it, it's pretty. Especially with the nn Vani
SHIV-ahn-ee, I would say.
I sort of like the way it flows.
However, I think it's one of those "racial names" that will forever be confined to a certain race. Sucks, I know, but that's just the way it is.
