I pronounce it CARE-is. I don't like Karys Adyeen.

I believe the correct Welsh pronunciation of Carys is KAH-riss. KER-is/KARE-is would be spelled Cerys.I like the combo Karys Aydeen though I prefer the spelling Carys Aideen or Cerys Aideen.By the way, one of my favorite names is Carys! :)

Carys is KAH-is (NOT KER-is, there is no AIR sound, so KAIR-is/KER-is is out). I believe that is the correct Welsh pronunciation. I suppose Karys would be the same.Cerys is closer to the KAIR-is/KER-is prounciation, though to me the KER- sound is shorter than the KAIR- sound.

It's pronounced KER-is (long a at beginning). It sounds nice, but I don't like the way you've spelled it. It looks trendy with the K and the y. Carys Aideen would be better.

Aydeen is a celtic spelling and Im torn between Carys because its the most accurate spelling and using the "K" to come to an agreement. ;)thank you for your input.

Actually the Celtic spelling is Étaín. If you really like K's though, go for it.

Ditto. Aydeen isn't.
